On Saturday at Prestonpans, we were delighted to welcome a travelling support for our game against the league leaders. Mrs Muriel Thomson was present to support her son, Robbie, and there were also some of the disaffected Jedburgh youth, Robbie’s pals, in attendance!!!
The Genocchio family, pictured, were there to support Damien , the “Ginger Flash”, who responded in fine fashion by scoring his first try of the 23/24 season.
Additionally, Andrew Macfarlane, a great supporter of all things good at Hughenden, turned out. Andy ( aka L Mann ) is pictured here post match by the PL Honours Boards, enjoying his post match refreshment which should have been purchased by the “Cub reporter” . Apologies.
However any suggestion that Andy once played rugby for PL has to be disabused !! He was, however, a fine cricketer who still supports the XL Club during the summer .
