Volunteers are essential to keep our Community Sports going, and it was great on Sunday morning to meet up with 4 former Hills RFC players who are giving freely of their time to coach and support the next generation. The “ gathering” occurred at Hughenden where Hills minis entertained their counterparts from West of Scotland.
The 3 musketeers are, left to right : Iain Graham, former Hills tight head prop, Colin “ Speedy” Reid, Hills open side and second rower, Murray Bell. Pictured on his own is Marty “ Pine Tree” Lane, also a Hills second rower.
This “page” is very even handed in its commendations : 2 of the 4 pictured remain at Hughenden, the other 2 at Burnbrae !!
