HILLHEAD JORDANHILL 1st XV v WEST OF SCOTLAND 1st XV
Pictured prior to Saturday’s NL 3 game v West at Hughenden at the presentation of the Match Ball are Hills former Hon. President, John Maclean, and the current Hills 1st XV Captain, Rory Harte.
It is alleged that the reason for Rory’s very broad smile was John’s suggestion that he i.e Rory should stand aside from his duties and allow him i.e John to take the kicks at goal during the game.
With hindsight and knowledge of how the game eventually panned out, John, as is usual, was very prescient !!
