Volunteer With Us

About Us

Like most amateur sports clubs, Hillhead Jordanhill RFC runs on the support, goodwill and enthusiasm of our volunteers.

Hills have over 300 active players across 20 teams aged from pre-school age to adult, each one driven by their enthusiasm and love for rugby.

And of course, like any other modern organisation, we want to show that we are an open and inclusive club who hold ourselves to the highest standards. Not only in sport, but in our community too.

We are looking for people who would like to put something back into the club and the sport they love. Volunteering to help manage, promote and grow our club presents some exciting opportunities. You can gain some new business or social media skills, mentor and support others, or enjoy being part of a great Glasgow rugby club

Helping out on matchday

Hills can’t run with players and coaches alone. We need many other people to keep things running, like:

  • Team managers
  • Referees
  • Physios
  • Drivers for match days
  • Supporters (very important!!)

If you would like to find out how you can help with any of these roles, get in touch!

Posting news from the touchline online

We run a range of digital channels so you can keep up-to-date with the latest news from HJRFC anytime. We have our website as well as several social media channels which all need updated with the latest news articles, training and match information and exciting events at the club.

If you’re a whiz with a website, a graphic design genius or a social media superstar, we want to hear from you!

We need people to work as a team to manage our social platforms, to write news articles and match reports for the website, and to produce graphics too.

We also need budding photographers to provide those killer action shots from our games too. Does that sound like you? Please get in touch!
